Brabus 900 E63 with Twin-Turbo V8 Revealed

Brabus has revealed the new Brabus Rocket 900, based on the Mercedes-AMG E 63 S 4Matic+. This powerful car is built at Brabus's high-tech facility in Bottrop, Germany, which specializes in making high-performance engines.

A Bigger, Stronger 4.5L V8 Engine

The Rocket 900 uses a twin-turbo V8 engine with more power than the standard model. Brabus increased the engine size to 4.5 liters by boring out the engine block to 84mm. They added larger pistons, a precision-balanced billet crankshaft, and eight special piston rods, increasing the stroke length to 100mm.

New Turbocharging System for More Power

Brabus also built a better turbo system. It now includes two high-performance turbochargers with bigger compressor units and stronger core parts that help the engine produce more power.

They also added Brabus BoostExtra adapters. When the driver lifts off the gas pedal, these give the car a cool blow-off sound. A stainless-steel exhaust system reduces back pressure, helping the car breathe better.

Better Air and Fuel Supply

The intake system was redesigned to give the engine more fresh air. At the same time, high-pressure pumps deliver the right amount of fuel. The engine is topped off with a stylish red carbon engine cover.

Rocket Performance Stats

This powerful car produces:

• 900 horsepower at 6,200 rpm
• 1,250 Nm of torque at 2,900 rpm

Performance stats:

• 0–100 km/h: 2.8 seconds
• 0–200 km/h: 9.7 seconds
• 0–300 km/h: 23.9 seconds
• Top speed: 330 km/h (electronically limited)
• Torque is also limited to 1,050 Nm to protect the drivetrain.

Aerodynamic Upgrades and Exterior Design

The outside of the Rocket 900 looks just as powerful as what's under the hood. It includes:

• Front lip spoiler with raised side flaps to reduce lift at high speeds
• Carbon side air intakes for better airflow
• Rear lip spoiler on the trunk for added downforce
• Carbon diffuser
• Carbon titanium exhaust tips
• Carbon air intakes on each side of the front grille
