Brabus 900 Mercedes-AMG E63 Revealed with a Bigger 4.5L V8 Rocket Engine

The Brabus company officially revealed the latest Brabus Rocket 900, which depends on the current Mercedes-AMG E 63 S 4Matic+. The company also operates an engine shop at Manufaktur in Bottrop, which is outfitted with cutting-edge machinery for producing outstanding performance engines.

The latest Rocket 900 is equipped with a V8 twin-turbo increased-displacement engine. To boost the shifting to 4.5 liters, the eight-cylinder engine block is bored to 84mm and bigger pistons are fitted. Furthermore, a precision-balanced billet crankshaft and eight unique piston rods improve the stroke to 100mm.

Brabus designed a more efficient turbo charging system to boost the power of the engine. The system consists of two outstanding performance turbochargers with bigger compressor items and a unique core assemblage with reinforced axial bearings.

Furthermore, the Brabus BoostExtra connectors make sure the engine makes an audible blow-off sound when the driver releases the accelerator. The latest version is also equipped with an outstanding performance exhaust system produced entirely of stainless steel, which decreases exhaust back pressure.

The newly upgraded intake system makes sure an optimal supply of fresh air throughout the vehicle, while high-pressure pumping systems supply the necessary fuel. A unique engine protection made of red carbon improves the engine's appearance.

The new Rocket 900 has an optimal horsepower output of 900 hp at a low 6,200 rpm and a maximum torque of 1,250 Nm at 2,900 rpm. The acceleration from 0 to 100 km/h takes only 2.8 s, 200 km/h in 9.7 s, and 300 km/h in 23.9 seconds. The highest speed is electronically set at 330 km/h to avoid overstressing the tires, while the Newton Metre is electronically limited to 1,050 Nm to secure the drive line.

The vehicle's exterior includes a Brabus the front lip spoiler with increased raises on both sides to decrease aerodynamic front-axle lift during high speeds, carbon intakes for the side air scoops that are a subtle lip spoiler on the trunk to create more rear-axle downward force, a carbon diffuser, carbon titanium combustion tips, and carbon intakes for air on both sides of the radiator equipment grille.

Brabus presents 21-inch forged wheels for the E63, meanwhile the newly released Rocket 900 travels on Brabus Monoblock 'Platinum Edition' Z forged wheels achieved in Signature Black. The front axle of the vehicle is equipped with 9Jx21 wheels using 265/30 ZR 21 ContiSportContact 6 tires, while the back axle includes 10.5Jx 21 wheels with 305/25 ZR 21 tires.

The vehicle's interior includes Brabus Race shifting paddles on the steering wheel, aluminum door lock pins and pedals, stainless scuff layers with a backlit Brabus logo that matches the ambient interior lighting, and good leather and Alcantara finishing. The interior also includes valuable wood and real carbon inlays in multiple colors and designs.
