Brabus has taken the Mercedes-AMG SL63 and transformed it into an exclusive shooting brake with an entirely new body made from exposed carbon fiber. This sleek, long-roof design isn't something you'll find at your local Mercedes dealership—it's a one-of-a-kind build from the legendary tuning company.
The new front fascia features a bold spoiler to reduce lift and improve aerodynamics. Wider front fenders blend seamlessly into aggressive side skirts, leading to the dramatically redesigned rear. Gone is the original folding soft top, replaced with a sculpted roofline that defines this two-door shooting brake. At the back, Brabus adds a large rear diffuser, quad carbon-fiber exhaust tips, and a subtle ducktail spoiler for extra flair.
Powertrain: Hybrid V8 with Nearly 1,000 HP
Under the hood, Brabus enhances the Mercedes-AMG SL63’s hybrid powertrain to extreme levels. The twin-turbo V8 engine grows to 4.4 liters, producing 785 horsepower. Paired with a high-performance electric motor generating 201 hp, the combined output reaches a staggering 985 horsepower.
Power is sent through a nine-speed automatic transmission to a set of staggered Brabus wheels—21 inches at the front and 22 inches at the rear. Upgraded brakes and a reworked suspension system ensure this high-performance shooting brake stays firmly planted at high speeds.
Brabus Blistering Speed and Record Performance
Brabus claims the Rocket GTS can sprint from 0-60 mph in just 2.7 seconds, making it one of the quickest wagons in the world. The top speed is electronically limited to 197 mph, though Brabus hints it could go even faster without restrictions.
Interior: Luxury Meets Performance
Inside, the Brabus SL63 AMG Rocket GTS gets a refined yet aggressive makeover. Carbon fiber, Alcantara, and quilted leather dominate the cabin, complemented by white contrast stitching and ambient blue lighting.
