Brabus 900 HP Pickup Based on G63 AMG

02 May, 2025 1
Brabus XLP 900 Mercedes G63 AMG

The Brabus XLP 900 is a wild, custom-made pickup based on the Mercedes G63 AMG from the W463 series. It's not just a regular luxury SUV — a high-performance, off-road pickup truck that costs around $700,000 and produces 900 horsepower.

Pickup Conversion With Advanced Design

Brabus engineers used advanced design and engineering tools to turn the G-Class into a pickup. They created a special frame module to support the pickup bed, keeping the vehicle's strong structure.

  • The wheelbase is now 50 cm longer.
  • A new rear wall with a heated window was added.
  • The pickup bed makes the SUV 68.9 cm longer than the stock G63.

Custom Carbon Fiber Body Parts

Brabus's CSP division built custom carbon fiber body panels to make the long 5.31-meter truck look sleek and bold. These parts include:

  • Rear side walls made using the prepreg process
  • New steel reinforcements for strength and perfect fit
  • A mix of materials to ensure high durability and load capacity

Brabus Widestar Body Kit

The Brabus 900 XLP includes the Widestar widebody kit for a more aggressive look. The body kit features:

  • Fender flares with wheel arches
  • Side rub strips
  • A carbon fiber hood cowl with two bulges
  • Front and rear skid plates in exposed matte carbon
  • A strong, yacht-inspired Flexiteel headliner

Rugged Exterior Upgrades

The pickup truck also comes with:

  • Widestar front fascia with big air intakes
  • Carbon grille and custom trim with Brabus logo
  • Rock sliders for the extended wheelbase
  • Power-retractable side steps (optional)
  • LED lights in fenders and roof rack
  • Carbon wind deflector with 4 LED lights above the windshield
  • Modified rear doors that now open 90° for easier access

Premium Interior With Unique Touches

The Brabus 900 XLP is wrapped in Mondial Black leather with Jet Black piping and stitching. Other standout features include:

  • Shell-pattern quilted and perforated seats
  • Red-glazed plastic trim
  • A luxury Brabus cockpit with a Penerai-designed clock

Off-Road Suspension and Ride Control

To handle tough terrain, the Brabus XLP has:

  • A custom chassis with 49 cm ground clearance
  • Portal axles for better articulation
  • Brabus Ride Control coilover suspension for comfort and performance

Brabus Wheels and Off-Road Tires

The 900 XLP uses tough Brabus Monoblock Z HD alloy wheels with:

  • 9.5Jx22 inch wheels
  • Fitted with Pirelli Scorpion ATR all-terrain tires in 325/55 R22 size
  • A special 8-hole bolt pattern for strength

Powerful 900 HP Twin-Turbo Engine

The Brabus XLP 900 uses a heavily modified 4.4-liter V8 twin-turbo engine:

  • 900 hp @ 6200 rpm
  • 1250 Nm torque @ 2900 rpm
  • 0-100 km/h in 4.4 seconds
  • Top speed limited to 210 km/h (due to the tires)

Brabus increased the displacement from 3982 cc to 4407 cc, with:

  • Bigger 84 mm bore
  • High-pressure fuel pump
  • Custom air filter system

Price and Production Limit

Only 10 units of the Brabus XLP 900 will be made, with a price tag of €658,625 (about $700,000). It's rare, powerful, and built for those who want the ultimate luxury off-road pickup.
