Under the hood, the GLR 700 has a 4.0-liter V8 biturbo engine. This engine has been upgraded with a Manhart performance kit. It includes a new ECU software remap, which boosts power from the stock 510hp and 700 Nm to an impressive 707hp and 905 Nm of torque.

To achieve this, Manhart added a turbo upgrade, intercooler upgrade, carbon intake, and sports downpipes with 300-cell catalytic converters. These changes help the engine breathe better and produce more power.

Improved Transmission and Lowered Suspension

Manhart also upgraded the transmission to handle the extra power. The air suspension system now features new coupling rods, lowering the ride height by 30mm for better handling and a sportier look.
