Flashy Mansory Upgrade for Mercedes G 63

Mansory modified Mercedes-AMG G 63

Mercedes hit a home run with the second-generation G-Wagen. It keeps the classic boxy look we all know and love but adds a fresh, modern twist. It's not just about looks either—the G 63 is a serious off-roader with a premium touch.

With its strong performance, rugged design, and the famous Mercedes three-pointed star, it's no surprise that wealthy car lovers adore it. Many owners even upgrade their G-Wagens with aftermarket parts, and Mansory is one of the most talked-about tuners for this model.

Mansory's Take on the G 63: Bold and Flashy

We've never been big fans of how Mansory tunes the Mercedes G-Wagen. And the latest one we saw is no different. This version is painted a light green color—more like something you'd see on a Lamborghini.

It also has a lot of flashy upgrades made with forged carbon fiber. You'll find it on the hood, roof, side skirts, bumper inserts, and other parts.

The famous Panamericana grille was swapped for a custom one. Luckily, this G 63 still keeps its side exhaust setup. The exhaust tips, wheels, and Mansory logos complete the loud look. The wheels, in particular, seem too fancy for such a wild design.

Inside the G 63: Too Much White?

A Mercedes G-Wagen, especially an AMG, normally deserves a dark and classy interior. But this Mansory-tuned G 63 is different. It has a lot of white leather covering almost every surface inside.

To match the bright green exterior, green accents are inside the cabin. Mansory's branding appears throughout the interior, and interestingly, the push-button start has been moved to the roof.

Meet the P850: Supercharged Power

This customized Mercedes-AMG G 63 is called the P850. It packs 850 metric horsepower—about 838 brake horsepower or 625 kilowatts.

Under the hood, the twin-turbo 4.0-liter V8 engine now delivers 1,000 Nm (738 lb-ft) of torque. That's 150 Nm (111 lb-ft), more than the standard version. Plus, the total power is up by 265 ps (261 hp or 195 kW).

Mansory claims it can go from 0 to 100 kph (0-62 mph) in just 3.5 seconds, shaving a full second off the original time. The top speed has also increased from 220 kph (137 mph) to 250 kph (155 mph).

Even More Power Options from Mansory

If 850 horsepower isn't enough, Mansory offers even stronger upgrades. One version pumps out 900 ps (887 hp or 662 kW) and 1,200 Nm (885 lb-ft) of torque, making takeoffs even quicker.

Still, while the extra power sounds exciting, most of Mansory's designs for the G-Wagen look over the top. But if you had a new Mercedes-AMG G 63—or maybe you already do—would you consider giving it a Mansory widebody kit and flashy interior?
