After seeing the strange BMW XM, let's look at another wild design by Mansory — the Rolls-Royce Spectre.
This unique electric luxury car was shown off by Mansory's Middle East team on social media earlier this week. It has been heavily changed both inside and out. But sadly, the final look may not please everyone — and that's not a big shock coming from Mansory.
Black Exterior With a Touch of Orange
The car's black paint looks sleek and stylish, and a thin orange stripe adds a bit of flair. The custom wheels are a good match for this high-end car. But after that, things go downhill quickly. The car has too many forged carbon fiber parts, and the inside is hard to like.
Over-the-top Forged Carbon Add-Ons
You don't need to zoom in to see the many carbon fiber changes. They're easy to spot on the lower front bumper, including side pieces and a sharp-edged lower section. The side skirts and hood are also custom-made. The large rear diffuser looks out of place. The strange spoiler and the added trim around the taillights also don't help the design.
Bright Orange Interior That's Hard to Miss
The outside isn't the only bold part. The inside is full of bright orange leather. It covers the dashboard, center console, seats, door panels, steering wheel, and more. You may want to wear sunglasses to look at it. Mansory also added more carbon fiber inside. The company's logo and design touches are all over — from the seatbelt clips to the headrest pillows.
Some Black Details Save the Interior
Some black touches are inside to help break up the orange, such as black piping and trim. One good feature that seems to be original is the starlight headliner — a favorite in many Rolls-Royce cars. If your Spectre doesn't have this feature, Mansory or other tuners can add it. Of course, these extras cost money. But if you own a Spectre, which starts at over $420,000 in the U.S. for the 2024 model, you likely have the budget.
No Power Upgrade — But Still Very Fast
Were you hoping for a performance boost? Sorry — Mansory didn't touch the engine. This Spectre keeps the stock setup with two electric motors that make 567 horsepower (575 PS / 430 kW) and 664 lb-ft of torque (900 Nm). Even though it weighs nearly 6,600 pounds (almost 3 tons), it can go from 0 to 60 mph in 4.5 seconds. It also offers a solid 320-mile range (515 km). That makes it one of the top luxury electric vehicles available today.
