Novitec has unveiled their new take on the Ferrari F8 Spider. The material of choice is carbon, and the precise-fit elements can be completed in the body color or ordered naked carbon with a high-gloss coating.
The Ferrari F8 Spider is organized by a 3.8L twin-turbo V8 engine that produces 802 horsepower at 8000 rpm and 898 Nm of torque at a low 3,100 rpm. The acceleration from 0 to 100 km/h takes 2.6 s, 0-200 km/h takes 7.8 s, and the highest speed exceeds 340 km/h.
The vehicle has been equipped with a two-piece front spoiler to decrease aerodynamic front-axle lift and enhance the car's stability and handling at higher speeds. Additionally, the carbon insert for the front fascia is based on current Formula 1 race vehicles, and the carbon flaps on both sides of the bumper provide adequate air flow into the cooling air intakes.
The Novitec race-inspired inserts for the hood, the panel in front of the windshield, the door handles, and the side mirrors are modeled after cutting-edge Grand Prix race cars. Carbon inserts in the air intakes below the doors provide ventilation to the radiators and air filters.
The vehicle is outfitted with a sporty carbon spoiler lip; however, Novitec also offers a larger rear spoiler in ducktail design or a back wing for the Ferrari. There are several rear fascia upgrades available, including naked-carbon trim for the diffuser and an optional finish carbon fibre diffuser with redesigned fins.
Additionally, vehicles with an ex-factory backup camera can be upgraded with a carbon surround for this function. The company also sells an engine cover with integrated air circulation slots and a panel in naked carbon.
The model has been outfitted with a set of custom wheels/tires; the high-tech forged wheels are light and strong despite their large dimensions of 9Jx21 at the front axle and 12Jx22 at the back of the vehicle. The wheels have been paired with a set of outstanding performance 255/30 ZR21 and 335/25 ZR22 tires. The wheels were completed in 'Satin Bronze', one of many Vossen colors available.
The hydraulic suspension system allows the vehicle's front end to be raised by 40mm at the touch of a button when getting closer bumps or parking garage ramps. The vehicle can revert its height with a single button press or automatically at speeds of up to 80 km/h. The sport springs can also lower the vehicle by 35mm, which improves handling due to a lower center of gravity.
The thermally insulated outstanding performance exhaust system is available with or without active exhaust flaps. Furthermore, the INCONEL variant is recommended for customers who want their vehicles to be quiet, have maximum power, and be lightweight. Heat dissipation can be improved further by plating with 999 fine gold.
