The turbocharged Porsche 911 is turning 50, and it's still making headlines. To celebrate, a new limited edition featuring the Techart GTstreet R coupe and Cabriolet dressed in sleek new looks.
Porsche 911 Turbo: A 50-Year Legacy
In 1974, Porsche wanted to make the 911 even more special. They launched the Turbo model, combining high performance, style, and emotion. Now, 50 years later, Porsche is marking this moment with a special edition of the 911 Turbo.
Only 1,974 cars will be made, matching the year the first 911 Turbo was released. These cars come in a new exclusive color called 'Turbonite' and include classic touches like tartan seat patterns and the Heritage Design package.
Porsche fans can also buy a matching watch – the Porsche Design Chronograph 911 Turbo 50 Years. Like the car, only 1,974 of these timepieces will be made.
Techart GTstreet R Monochrome: Even More Exclusive
For those who want something even rarer than Porsche's special edition, there's the Techart GTstreet R Monochrome. It comes as either a coupe or a Cabriolet.
Techart, a German tuning company that started in 1987, focuses only on Porsche vehicles. Their experience is shown in the GTstreet R series, which includes different versions like the Flyweight and the Touring. Now, the new Monochrome edition joins the lineup.

Techart has created several special versions of the GTstreet R:
- GTstreet R Flyweight: Built for racing, this version focuses on lightweight materials, high performance, and a race-ready interior.

Techart GTstreet R Monochrome: Performance and Style
The new GTstreet R Monochrome is a beast. It makes over 810 horsepower – more than the Porsche 911 Turbo S, which has 650 horsepower.
It has new Formula 8 Race forged wheels and a mostly black design. But it's not fully blacked out. Some small gold accents give it a luxurious feel. You can also paint the wheels gold instead of black for more contrast.

Inside and out, the Monochrome edition blends performance with luxury. You'll find high-end materials like leather, carbon fiber, and Alcantara. The new 22/21-inch forged wheels are made just for this edition. They are strong and light, with a smart design that helps cool the brakes.
