Ferrari's newest front mid-engine car is called the 12Cilindri. As the name says, it keeps the classic 12-cylinder setup. Under the hood, there's a powerful 6.5-liter V12 engine. It's naturally aspirated—no electric help here. And yes, it's seriously fast.
This motor makes 818 horsepower (830 PS / 610 kW) and 500 lb-ft (678 Nm) of torque. The Coupe version goes from 0-62 mph (0-100 kph) in just 2.9 seconds, while the Spider takes 3.0 seconds. Both versions can hit over 211 mph (340 kph). That's more than enough speed for any car lover.
Looking Back: F12berlinetta and Its Place in Ferrari History
Before the 12Cilindri and even the 812, there was the F12berlinetta. Many still love how the older Ferrari 599 looked, but the F12berlinetta that came next was even more exciting to drive.
Ferrari built the F12berlinetta from 2012 to 2017. It had a front mid-engine, rear-wheel drive layout and shared many parts with the FF Shooting Brake. The car weighed about 3,594 pounds (1,630 kg) and was just over 4.6 meters (181+ inches) long. Like the 599, it was built for high-speed cruising and looked exotic.
The F12berlinetta Engine: Pure V12 Power
You probably guessed what's under that long hood: a naturally aspirated V12. This 6.3-liter engine could rev up to 8,700 rpm and produced 730 horsepower (740 PS / 545 kW) and 509 lb-ft (690 Nm) of torque. That means it was fast, powerful, and loud in the best way.
Later, Ferrari also released a track-focused version called the F12tdf. It had even more power and was limited to just 799 units, making it even rarer and more desirable.
Why Are We Talking About the F12 Again?
Even though Ferrari stopped making the F12berlinetta years ago, one custom version has people talking. It showed up on @plazaperformance's Instagram, and it looks like something a general might drive into battle—if generals drove supercars.
This Custom F12berlinetta Looks Bold and Unique
The standout feature is its satin green paint, which gives the car a bold military vibe. A bright yellow racing stripe across the middle adds contrast and a sporty touch. The car still keeps all the original Ferrari badges.
But what catches the eye is the new set of wheels. These are SRX01 alloy wheels from AG. You can buy them in sizes from 19 to 24 inches and choose from different finishes. This set has a chrome look, which may not be everyone's favorite for a Ferrari, but it works surprisingly well on this build.
Final Thoughts: A Ferrari That Stands Out
Even though the F12berlinetta is no longer in production, this special version deserves some love. It looks bold, different, and stylish in its way. The green-and-yellow combo, chrome wheels, and overall look give it a unique presence.
So, what do you think—does this Ferrari deserve its moment of fame?
