Many tuning companies have upgraded the latest Land Rover Defender. The options are endless, from widebody kits to power upgrades and custom wheels. You can find most parts online with just a few clicks.
One of the top names in the tuning world is Mansory, which offers many parts for this British SUV. We recently saw a tuned Land Rover Defender 90. Mansory has worked on the longer Defender 110, giving it a bold new look.
Aggressive Exterior Upgrades
This version isn't called the "Black Edition" anymore, but it still comes in full black and has a very similar style. The changes include:
- Wide fender flares for a stronger, more muscular look
- New attachments on the front, rear, and sides
- Extra front lights in the bumper and above the windshield
- A new hood and a sporty rear diffuser with a center brake light
- A roof spoiler for added style
The Mansory logo is on several exterior parts, like the new hood and spare tire cover. The wheels are also branded, though they look more suited for a Rolls-Royce than a tough SUV.
Wheels That Stand Out (And Not in a Good Way)
The Defender 110 now rides on 10.24-inch alloy wheels wrapped in 295/30 tires. These thin tires and lower ride height make the SUV lose its off-road skills. It's now more of a city cruiser than a trail-ready 4x4.
Carbon Fiber, Bronze Touches, and Luxury Inside
As with most Mansory builds, carbon fiber is used in many exterior and interior parts. Inside, you'll see:
- Carbon trim on various surfaces
- Bronze accents
- Custom badges, including one that says "Black Edition"
- Black suede with orange piping
- Other unique design touches
One of the most eye-catching features is the starlight headliner, similar to what you find in Rolls-Royce cars. It looks a bit out of place in an off-roader, but it's still a cool touch for those who want luxury.
Powerful V8 Engine Under the Hood
Mansory hasn't shared full engine details, but this Defender 110 likely uses a supercharged 5.0L V8. In stock form, it makes:
- 518 horsepower (525 PS / 386 kW)
- 461 lb-ft (625 Nm) of torque
With tuning, it's now boosted to:
- 641 horsepower (650 PS / 478 kW)
- 642 lb-ft (870 Nm) of torque
This upgrade cuts the 0–62 mph time to just 4.7 seconds, half a second faster than stock. It also increases the top speed to 155 mph (250 kph).
