Novitec has added the McLaren Artura to its list of high-performance cars. The British hybrid supercar now has more power and new carbon fiber parts. These upgrades help the car perform better and look sharper.
Carbon Fiber Styling and Better Aerodynamics
This tuned McLaren Artura stands out thanks to the carbon fiber air intake covers on the back. These covers help the engine get more air. Novitec also added:
- A front skirt to reduce lift on the front axle
- A rear wing for better high-speed stability
- A lip spoiler, trunk lid, and more carbon parts
Buyers can also choose a naked carbon rear bumper and a rear diffuser with side trims.
MC4-Style Wheels From Vossen
The car rides on new Vossen wheels called the MC4 Design. These wheels have five twin spokes and center-locking hubs. They are unrelated to the older MC4-12C supercar, even though the name may sound similar.
Novitec also offers another option: the MC3 Design wheels. These come with seven twin spokes and center-locking hubs as well. Both wheel sets measure:
- 19 inches in the front
- 20 inches in the back
Lower Ride Height for a Sporty Look
No matter which wheels you choose, they fit perfectly, thanks to lower sport springs. These springs drop the car's height by about 0.8 inches (20 mm), giving the Artura a lower and sportier stance.
Performance Exhaust Adds Power and Sound
To boost performance, Novitec added a custom exhaust system. It helps the engine breathe better and comes in:
- Stainless steel
- Inconel (lightweight alloy)
- Both can have 999 fine gold plating
The tailpipes are 4 inches (105 mm) wide and can include carbon rings and gold accents. This exhaust gives the car an extra 35 horsepower (26 kW).
More Horsepower Than Stock
With the new exhaust, the McLaren Artura now produces 725 hp (541 kW), up from 690 hp (515 kW). The Artura's 3.0L V6 engine gives 596 hp (445 kW), and the electric motor adds another 94 hp (70 kW).
The Artura has 531 lb-ft (720 Nm) of torque from the factory. It can go from 0–62 mph (0–100 kph) in just 3 seconds and hit a top speed of 205 mph (330 kph). With Novitec's upgrades, it might be slightly quicker.
Interior Customization Available
Novitec also offers interior upgrades. Buyers can choose to reupholster the cabin in leather or Alcantara in almost any color. For complete pricing, interested customers need to contact Novitec directly, as the company hasn't shared the costs yet.
