Lamborghini Huracan STO Tuned by Vorsteiner

26 Apr, 2025 3
Vorsteiner-tuned Lamborghini Huracan STO

At autoevolution, we believe that less is more when it comes to car tuning. A perfect example is this Italian supercar. It only has a few aftermarket upgrades, but it still looks amazing.

Vorsteiner, an American company with a German name, did the tuning work. They added:

  • A new chin spoiler
  • Bumper attachments
  • New parts on the front hood
  • Tweaks to the rear bumper
  • A fresh rear diffuser

The large wing on the back is a Lamborghini original (OEM) part.

Subtle Details That Stand Out

No STO emblems are on the doors, but the STO logo sits below the front windshield. This helps people recognize that it's a Lamborghini Huracan Super Trofeo Omologata (STO)—a race car made for the streets.

It rides on Vorsteiner's VC-222 wheels and wears a striking green color with black accents for contrast.

Huracan STO: Light, Powerful, and Fast

The Lamborghini Huracan STO was already a lighter and faster version. It weighed 95 pounds (43 kg) less than the Huracan Performante, which was already considered light.

Key specs:

  • 5.2L naturally aspirated V10 engine
  • 631 horsepower (640 ps/471 kW)
  • 417 pound-foot (565 Nm) of torque
  • Seven-speed dual-clutch transmission
  • All-wheel drive

Performance numbers:

  • 0-62 mph (100 kph) in 3 seconds
  • 0-124 mph (200 kph) in 9 seconds
  • Top speed of 193 mph (310 kph)

Since many STOs are barely driven hard, most of them could still easily reach their full speed where allowed.

Huracan's Farewell and What's Next

You might notice we talk about the STO in the past tense. That's because it was discontinued. All versions of the Huracan were sold out by the time production ended.

Before Lamborghini officially ends the Huracan line, rumors suggest a final special model may be coming. It could be called the STJ, based on a new trademark filing with the European Union Intellectual Property Office (EUIPO).

After that, Lamborghini will launch the Huracan's successor. It's expected to arrive this year with:

  • A twin-turbo V8 engine
  • Electric Assistance

We don't know its name or exact specs yet, but Lamborghini keeps it a secret for now. We'll learn more very soon!
