Widebody Lamborghini Urus in Satin Purple

Widebody Lamborghini Urus in satin purple

Some might think that we would be bored of the Lamborghini Urus after six years. And honestly, we are. It doesn't look exciting anymore, mainly because it shares its VW Group platform with the Audi Q7, Porsche Cayenne, Bentley Bentayga, and even the Volkswagen Touareg.

But now and then, one special Urus grabs our attention, like this stunning purple one that is now blowing up on social media. The pictures were posted on Instagram by @carlifestyle, tagging @velosdesignwerks and @rdbla, the companies behind this awesome custom job.

Carbon Fiber Widebody Kit by RDB LA

The carbon fiber widebody kit looks like RDB LA made it. This custom Lamborghini Urus has wide fender flares with fake front and rear vents. It also has some add-ons for the original front bumper and apron. In the back, there's a brand-new rear diffuser.

The tailgate features a bigger spoiler, and there's also an extra wing higher up. The wheels are VLS 07 models from Velos Designwerks, available in many finishes and styles.

Satin Purple Finish Makes It Pop

Like Lamborghini's true exotic mid-engine supercars, this Urus proudly wears its new color. The satin purple paint makes it a real head-turner wherever it goes. It has black accents here and there, plus a darkened roof for extra drama. All the windows are tinted too.

From the one inside shot we found, the interior shows black leather upholstery, adding a clean, sharp look inside this luxury crossover.

Powered by a 641-HP Twin-Turbo V8 Engine

From what we can see, this is the pre-facelift version of the Lamborghini Urus. It likely rolled off the factory line with a 4.0-liter twin-turbo V8 engine. This motor makes 641 horsepower (650 PS/478 kW) at 6,000 rpm and 627 lb-ft of torque (850 Nm) from 2,250 to 4,500 rpm.

In stock form, the Urus can sprint from 0-62 mph (0-100 kph) in just 3.6 seconds. It reaches 124 mph (200 kph) in 12.8 seconds and has a top speed of 190 mph (305 kph).

Still Sticking to the Original Power

Since no upgrades to the engine were mentioned, this purple widebody Urus keeps its original power. That’s slightly less than the newer facelifted versions like the Urus S and the track-ready Urus Performante.

Both newer models have 657 horsepower (666 PS/490 kW), but torque remains the same. The Urus S cuts the 0-62 mph time by one-tenth of a second, while the Urus Performante does it in only 3.3 seconds and hits a top speed of 191 mph (306 kph).

Price Tag: Not Cheap!

The Lamborghini Urus S starts above $230,000 in the U.S. Meanwhile, the Urus Performante pushes past $260,000—before any dealer markups that often make these even more expensive.
