Wald International Transforms the Aston Martin DBX

Aston Martin DBX

Have you ever thought the Aston Martin DBX needed more style? We didn't—but some owners love to upgrade their cars. This is why we often see luxury SUVs like the DBX, Ferrari Purosangue, and Lamborghini Urus with custom tuning.

Custom Work by Wald International

One of the latest tuned SUVs is an Aston Martin DBX modified by Wald International. The tuner gave it a bold name: Wald Sports Line Black Bison Edition. That's a long name for a car that didn't get a massive list of changes, but it still stands out.

What's New on This DBX?

Wald International added a few sleek upgrades:

  • Front spoiler with air ducts
  • Side skirts
  • Rear diffuser

The DBX in the photo has a clean white paint job with sharp black parts and black badges. It also wears black Y-spoke wheels with silver rivets and shows off red brake calipers. You'll also see Wald and Black Bison logos on the back.

Fits All DBX Models—Except One

Wald says their new parts fit all DBX models except the DBX707. If that sounds familiar, it's because the DBX707 is now the only version you can buy.

The DBX707: The Only Version You Can Get Now

Aston Martin updated the DBX707 recently with:

  • New paint options
  • New door handles and mirrors
  • Optional 23-inch wheels
  • A new infotainment system
  • USB-C ports
  • Smartphone connection
  • New center console
  • Updated interior materials

The DBX707 made up two-thirds of DBX sales last year and 90% this year. Because of this, Aston Martin stopped making the regular DBX and now only sells the high-performance 707 model.

Power and Speed: DBX707 Performance

The DBX707 has a 4.0L twin-turbo V8 engine. Power is sent to a rear-biased AWD system using a 9-speed automatic transmission.

Here are the key numbers:

  • 707 metric horsepower (697 hp / 520 kW)
  • 664 lb-ft (900 Nm) of torque
  • 0–62 mph (0–100 km/h) in just over 3 seconds
  • Top speed: 193 mph (311 km/h)

This makes it one of the fastest SUVs in the world.

How It Stacks Up Against Rivals

Let's compare it with some top rivals:

Lamborghini Urus Performante

  • Twin-turbo V8
  • 657 hp (666 ps / 490 kW)
  • 0–62 mph in 3.3 seconds
  • Top speed: 190 mph (306 km/h)

Ferrari Purosangue

  • 6.5L V12 engine (naturally aspirated)
  • 715 hp (725 ps / 533 kW)
  • 0–62 mph in about 3.3 seconds
  • Top speed: 217 mph (350 km/h)

While the DBX707 isn't the fastest on paper, it's still among the top performers in the luxury SUV world.
