Brabus has designed a significant performance improvement for the current Porsche 911 Turbo S cars.
The motor vehicle has been driven by a 3.8-liter twin-turbo flat-six. The Brabus PowerXtra P38S-720 performance upgrade boosts peak output from 650 hp to 720 hp at a low 6900 rpm, a 70 hp improvement. The performance enhancement also increases the maximum torque from 800 to 900 Nm at only 4000 rpm
The car also goes from 0 to 100 km/h in 2.6 seconds and has an electronically regulated top speed of 335 km/h. The electronic engine controls were adjusted to work with the new hardware, and the performance was improved with a Brabus PowerXtra auxiliary control unit and a reworked forced induction system.
The adjustment boosted the output horsepower to 820 horsepower at 6900 rpm and 950 Nm of torque at a low 4000 rpm.
The Brabus outstanding performance exhaust system is made of Inconiel, a heat-resistant lightweight alloy that is also used to make the exhaust systems for today's Formula One race cars. The two Brabus PowerXtra valves for the turbo motor are an unique development that makes a blow-off sound when the driver lets off the accelerator.
The Brabus PowerXtra P38S-820, installed in the back, provides the Turbo S even more horsepower. The eight-speed double clutch transmission, along with electronically controlled all-wheel drive, guarantees that the engine delivers sufficient horsepower to sprint from 0 to 100 km/h in 2.5 seconds, with an electronically limited top speed of 340 km/h.
The vehicle's appearance features body parts made of carbon and coated in either a high gloss or matt finish. The exterior includes a Brabus front spoiler with flaps on each side that decrease front-axle lift at high speeds, large air intakes with custom carbon components, Brabus flaps mounted to the rocker panels in front of the rear tires to improve air flow around the rear axle, and an exposed-carbon diffuser with custom tailpipes from the Brabus sport exhaust system.
The vehicle is equipped with forged Monoblock Z Platinum Edition center-lock wheels. The front wheel uses 9.5Jx21 rims, while the back axle uses 12Jx2 rims with Pirelli or Yokohama high-performance wheels in sizes 255/30 ZR21 and 335/25 ZR22. The Brabus adjusted in height sport springs reduce the car by 25 mm, reducing its center of gravity and increasing handling.
The interior of the car features a unique badge with red glazing on the seat seats with backrests black leather with red piping and stitchings to present contrast to the gray paint finish, shield-shaped quilting on the seat center sections and cockpit floor, aluminum parts on the pedals and footrest, red glazings on the dash and center console, the steering wheel features red landscape design stitching, leather trim around the Sport Chrono clock on the dashboard panel, and scuff plates with an illuminated Brabus symbol.
