The tuning experts from Mansory, based in Brand, Germany, are back with another bold project. This time, they have created a complete upgrade for the top version of the Mercedes-AMG S 63 E Performance, the most powerful model in the S-Class lineup.
Mercedes S-Class Still a Great Choice for Custom Builds
Even though the W223 Mercedes-Benz S-Class is getting older and a refresh is on the way, it remains an excellent choice for tuning. Mansory first grabbed attention in January by turning the AMG S 63 into a flashy, aggressive car with many red highlights on its aerodynamic body kit. It looked like something from a Mafia video game.
Custom Body Kit and Bold New Look
Mansory added many custom aero parts to the car. Some may not improve performance but definitely increase the car's price. At that time, they didn't show the interior or talk about any changes to the engine. So, most people assumed the car still had the same 4.0-liter twin-turbo V8 engine and rear electric motor, making 791 horsepower and 1,055 lb-ft of torque together.
Thanks to the optional AMG Driver's Package, which was already fast — 0 to 60 mph in 3.2 seconds and a top speed of 180 mph.
Mansory Goes from Bold to Blacked-Out
Later, Mansory dropped the red details and went for a fully blacked-out style. The all-black version gave off a more serious and stealthy look, showing that sometimes, "less is more."
New Chapter: The Mansory P950 is Here
Now, months later, Mansory is back with a fully finished version. It's called the Mansory P950 and adds even more power under the hood.
This luxury performance sedan now comes with a complete engine upgrade that includes:
- A new engine control unit (ECU) with custom mapping
- Two larger superchargers
- A built-in airbox
- A high-performance exhaust system with upgraded catalysts
Power Boost: 950 HP and 1,154 Lb-Ft of Torque
Thanks to these upgrades, the P950 makes 950 horsepower and 1,154 lb-ft of torque (or 1,565 Nm). This drops the 0 to 62 mph time to just 3.1 seconds, though the top speed stays at 180 mph (290 kph).
New Exterior Touches and Interior Reveal
Mansory also added some light mint green accents to the outside of the car. These subtle changes hint at the wild and luxurious interior, which Mansory has finally revealed in pictures. Now, the Mansory P950 truly feels like a complete and ultra-powerful business limousine.
