Many new Mercedes G-Class models, like the AMG G 63, the G 500 4x4², and even the electric EQG, are out today. But fans still remember the wild Mercedes-Benz G 63 AMG 6x6. Even though the newest G-Class doesn't have a 6x6 version, this older beast still grabs attention.
A Monster Truck That's Not for Everyone
The G 63 AMG 6x6 is huge. It doesn't fit in most garages. But that's fine—it was never meant to be common. Mercedes made only a limited number of them. What makes it special? The six-wheel setup is just the start. It also has a lifted suspension, an open bed in the back, and other cool features.
Why Are People Talking About It Again?
Even though it's been years since Mercedes stopped making the G 63 6x6, people still love it. One reason is how cool it still looks. The other? Tuning company Mansory just showed off their own version of the six-wheeler.
This version isn't as flashy as some of Mansory’s other projects. But it still looks different—and not everyone likes it. The stock G 63 6x6 already looks bold, so some wonder why it even needed a makeover.
What Did Mansory Change?
You'll see new body parts and Mansory's logo on the grille. That logo even comes in bright teal. The same teal shade also appears on the wheels, tying the outside to the inside design.
Inside: Minty Fresh and Super Luxurious
Open the door, and you’ll find a completely redone interior. The cabin is covered in teal leather—seats, dashboard, floor, steering wheel, door panels, and more. It’s a bold choice.
This G 63 AMG 6x6 also features:
- Two individual rear seats
- Mansory-branded seatbelts
- A starry ceiling with lights (called a starlight headliner)
- Rear-seat entertainment system
- Custom treadplates
Is This Over-the-Top, or Just Right?
We don’t hate this Mansory version—but we don’t love it either. The bright teal interior is a lot. Still, the outside of the truck looks powerful and tough. The extra lights and special hood vents match its extreme look.
Would We Buy One?
If we ever won the lottery, this G 63 6x6 would definitely be in our dream car garage. It’s big, bold, and fun to drive off-road—if it fits on the trail, that is. But we’d want ours without any custom mods. The original version looks the best, just the way Mercedes made it. Even the wheels and tires look perfect as-is.
What Do You Think?
Do you like Mansory’s custom G 63 AMG 6x6, or do you prefer the stock version?
