Ugliest Mansory Mercedes G 63 AMG 6x6

Ugliest Mansory Mercedes-Benz G 63 AMG

The Mercedes-Benz G 63 AMG 6x6 is already a wild ride. It looks like a six-wheeled beast in its stock form or with upgrades from Brabus and other top tuners. But Mansory decided to take things way over the top. The result? Their version is called the Gronos.

Flashy Exterior Changes

Like most Mansory custom cars, this one has extra parts on the outside. Some might find them cool, but not everyone. One big change is the logos. Mansory swapped out the classic three-pointed star emblems for their own, and the result doesn't look great.

Another odd touch is the teal accents on the outside. They don't match the rugged look of the G 63. But they were added to match the inside of the car, which is even more eye-catching.

Minty-Fresh Interior

The inside of this Mansory G 63 AMG 6x6 is full of teal leather upholstery, which looks like mint candy. The front and back seats, armrests, door panels, dashboard, center console, pillars, and even the ceiling are covered in this colour. Some parts also feature diamond stitching for extra style.

You'll see Mansory's logo in many places, like the steering wheel and seatbelts. The design is bold, but you can also tell that the interior is showing its age. That's because this model is from the older generation of the G-Wagen before Mercedes entirely took over AMG.

Still, this version could look better with some updates than the new models. Some people don't like the new ones with the dual-screen dashboard, which can feel cheap.

Power to All Six Wheels

We're not sure if Mansory changed the engine, but even in its stock form, the Mercedes-Benz G 63 AMG 6x6 is mighty. Its 5.5-liter twin-turbo V8 makes 536 horsepower (544 PS / 400 kW) and 561 lb-ft (761 Nm) of torque.

This power goes through a 7-speed automatic transmission to all six wheels. If you're wondering how fast it is, keep in mind that this thing is very heavy and boxy. Still, it can go from 0 to 62 mph (0–100 km/h) in about eight seconds. Its top speed is 100 mph (160 km/h), which is electronically limited.

It's Not a Drag Racer—But It Turns Heads

The G 63 AMG 6x6 is not built for speed races. It's more of a luxury mall crawler with profound off-road ability. Still, it turns heads everywhere it goes. Its extra axle, rare design, and bold changes make it a costly vehicle on the used market. Most versions now cost seven figures.

Even Mansory's Gronos, as wild and strange as it looks, is still very expensive. That's typical of Mansory. Anything they touch usually ends up costing a fortune.

Would You Buy One?

So here's the big question: If money wasn't a problem, would you ever buy a Mercedes-Benz G 63 AMG 6x6?
