Brabus is famous for turning Mercedes cars into powerful and stylish machines. They also tune other cars sometimes, like the smart car. Now, they've worked on something different — a Porsche 911 Turbo S.
You might remember the Brabus 900 Rocket R. We talked about it last summer when it came out with significant upgrades and immense power. Now, Brabus has shared a new version of this car on its social media and wants to know—how would you rate it from 1 to 10?
New Look: Silver With Black Details
The last Brabus-tuned 911 Turbo S was black. This one is silver with black accents. It comes with an adjustable front apron you can control inside the car. It also has carbon fiber air intake surrounds on the front bumper, sporty side skirts, wide fenders, a new rear wing, an aggressive rear diffuser, and carbon fiber mirror caps.
Custom Inside and Out
The Brabus logo is visible in many places outside and inside the car. Inside, there's black leather with white stitching, more carbon fiber trim, and special Brabus branding on the steering wheel, seatbacks, and headrests.
In their last Porsche project, Brabus also added an Alcantara headliner, Alcantara pillars, backlit door sills, aluminium pedals and a footrest. While we can't see all the details in the pictures this time, this car likely has the same upgrades.
Sport Suspension and Big Wheels
This car likely has a height-adjustable sports suspension, just like the last one. That version had 9.5x21-inch front and 12x22-inch rear wheels, giving it a strong and stable look.
900 Horsepower and Amazing Speed
The name “900 Rocket R" tells you how powerful it is. This Porsche now makes 900 metric horsepower, the same as 887 brake horsepower (bhp) or 662 kilowatts (kW). That's 246 hp more than a regular Porsche 911 Turbo S.
The torque is also enormous: 783 pound-feet (1,000 Nm). It goes from 0 to 62 mph (100 kph) in just 2.5 seconds. The top speed? 211 mph (340 kph). But Brabus electronically limits the top speed to protect the Continental SportContact 7 tires—255/45 at the front and 335/45 at the back. The car can probably go faster if not limited.
Is It for Sale?
We don't know if this exact car is for sale, but a similar Brabus 900 Rocket R was listed in the past for €549,192.38—more than $610,000 at today's rates.
